Roof Installations

We pride ourselves on our creative problem-solving. We treat each roof as unique, because, even if many roofs share a common frame and structure, there is always a small variation that makes us have to rely on our brainpower to get the job done as best as possible. Or if the client desires to make some changes to their roof, we adapt and make the wishes of our clients a reality.

We offer commercial and residential roofing system installations. Our company can install a wide variety of roofing systems on flat and sloped roofs.

  • Shingles (asphalt, wood, clay, stone, metal)
  • Multi-ply (BUR/SBS). (Flat roof)
  • Single-ply (TPO/PVC/EPDM/DECTEK). (Flat roof)
  • Metal siding

Asphalt Shingle

An asphalt shingle system is the most common type of roof used for homes. It can be installed quickly and it’s among the cheapest. Its lifespan can be between 25 to 35 years depending on the weather and temperatures that the location endures every year. However, more factors can impact their lifespan. That is why asphalt roofs also require periodic maintenance, about once or twice per year, to keep them functioning properly.

Metal Roof

A metal roofing system can be more expensive than asphalt and it can take longer to install, but it has the most beneficial advantages over most other roofing systems. Its lifespan can be 50 years or more, as our years of experience have shown. It’s extremely durable against intense weather conditions such as snow storms or high heat temperatures, because it’s highly resistant to cracking, eroding and shrinking. It requires little maintenance, though we recommend every ten years just for a check-up

Also, the weight of the material is the lightest, making this system the best at preserving the structural integrity of the house/building. And the metal material is environmentally friendly, it is 100% recyclable, which aligns with our values of keeping the least impact on the environment. It also provides a wide variety of creative and aesthetic appeals.

Multi-ply and Single-ply

Multi-ply roofing, such as Built-Up Roofing (BUR) and Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS), offers exceptional durability and longevity. These systems consist of multiple layers of roofing felt and asphalt, providing superior protection against the elements, including UV rays, extreme temperatures, and moisture. With their robust construction, Multi-ply roofs are renowned for their ability to withstand heavy foot traffic and harsh weather conditions, making them an ideal choice for commercial and industrial applications.

In contrast, Single-ply roofing systems, including Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer (EPDM), and DECTEK, offer versatility and ease of installation. These lightweight membranes provide excellent resistance to UV radiation, chemicals, and punctures, ensuring long-term performance and minimal maintenance requirements.

Single-ply roofs are highly flexible, allowing for easy customization to fit unique roof shapes and sizes. Additionally, their reflective properties help reduce energy costs by minimizing heat absorption, making them cost-effective solutions for both new construction and roof replacement projects.

Wood Shingles

A wood roofing system is the least common nowadays. Most of our clients who have chosen this system do so for aesthetic reasons. It can be as cheap as an asphalt shingle system if you expect to live or use the house/building for about 25 years. Its lifespan most of the time is 25 years, though it could be longer depending on the type of wood. However, its biggest drawbacks are its fire and moisture vulnerability.

So, if you desire to keep this roofing system after 25 years, then it can become the most expensive because it will require constant maintenance, especially if the area suffers mostly from wet and cold weather. Also, as it is an organic material, it is very environmentally friendly.

Slate Roofing

A slate roofing system is recognized as one of the priciest options, often about four times more costly than an asphalt shingle system. Its weight is substantial, necessitating an assessment of the roof's structure and possible reinforcement before installation, contributing to increased costs and installation duration.

Nonetheless, slate roofing boasts an exceptional lifespan of over 100 years and remarkable resilience to extreme weather conditions. It effectively regulates indoor temperatures, maintaining coolness in summer and warmth in winter. While the collective durability of clay tiles is notable, individual tiles can be fragile. Despite its reputation for low maintenance, an annual inspection is recommended to identify and replace any broken or damaged tiles, ensuring the system's longevity and effectiveness.
